Description:
Storz coupling is a type of hose coupling invented by Carl August Guido Storz in 1882 that connects using interlocking hooks and flanges. Amongst other uses, it has been widely employed on fire hoses in firefighting applications. It is the standard coupling on fire hoses in Portugal, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, the Netherlands and Greece.[It is also widely used in Australia.

Storz Coupling Fitted with white Nitrile suction and delivery / suction seals as standard and supplied complete with plated steel chain. Suitable for use with all other 'Storz' couplings, the Dust Caps are supplied with a white nitrile suction and delivery gaskets as standard, the black nitrile, a Viton or an EPDM gasket are all available to order.
The 'Storz' Dust Caps are available in a wide range of different configurations including with bleed valves, key operated locks, high impact plastic and with taper proof triangular bosses and spanners to suit. Other special fabrications can also be considered. The couplings are normally secured using a spanner.
